We changed the beach for amazing views of the hinterland - OPEN on Monday too!

Since July 2024 Adi and most of the old Moffs crew is in Maleny.

As owner & operator I am bringing more than three decades of international hospitality experience to the table,
I’m excited to provide you with some good old-fashioned, attentive customer service.
Our King Ludwig’s crew are hired by attitude and are the friendliness bunch on the coast.

‍ ‍Our journey is guided by the culinary mastery of our European Head Chef & his team who uses classic Austrian recipies for King Ludwig’s signature dishes including the mighy Pork Knuckle.

Alpine Cuisine here at King Ludwig’s, yet, the essence will remain Bavarian and Austrian.
Our purpose built Bavarian-styled restaurant serves SIX icy-cold German beers on tap, more than 40 German beers in bottles and since I am a WSET Diploma Level 4 graduate, we’ll offer you a dynamic and always expanding international wine list as you knew it from Moffs and to accompany our Head Chef’s culinary creations.

Saddle up to our mountain view bar or relax in our deck chairs for a cheeky glass of Wein or a Bier stein full of oompa oompa.

Whatever your mood, our kitchen is open from 11:30AM and there’s always a Pretzel and sausage for you up here at King Ludwig’s.
